I was digging through my MAC favorites this morning when I remembered a question asked by reader Sheila Z in the comments yesterday.

"Karen, I'll exist getting my makeup done this saturday at MAC for my brother-in-police force's engagement political party. Part of the process requires that I buy at least v items. What are the top 5 you recommend?"

With that out of the way, permit'due south go back to dazzler. 🙂 You're going to accept such a blast at the MAC counter on Saturday. For what it's worth, here are my five (electric current) MAC must-haves.

• 217 Blending Brush ($22.l)

  I wield this multi-tasking caprine animal pilus fiber brush Every. Single. Day. It has its manner with both foam and pulverization products, and I employ information technology for everything from loose pigments to under-middle concealer.

• Fluidline in Blacktrack ($fifteen)

  This black gel liner stays put no matter what! I've shed a million tears with this stuff on, and it doesn't budge for nothin'.

• Pro Longwear Concealer ($sixteen.50)

  I really fancy this phenomenon working liquid concealer. Not merely does it cover my dark circles well with its water-resistant formula, but it lasts all mean solar day long without fading, also. My one caveat? — it has a tricky pump.

• Soft Dark-brown Eyeshadow ($14.fifty)

  If you like the await of browns with orangish undertones, this matte shadow could be your new all-time friend. I wear information technology in the pucker with smokey looks to give my eyes depth and dimension.

• Viva Glam V Lipstick ($fourteen.50)

  Love this shimmery neutral pinkish! I call up it looks great on near everyone, and 100% of the proceeds get to back up men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS.
